The Vermont Bee Lab provides free diagnostic testing for Vermont beekeepers. Available diagnostic tests include Nosema and Varroa mites. If you are interested in submitting samples of your potentially infected hives for Nosema or Varroa mites, please check out the sample submission instructions, how to video and FAQ.

Our lab processes samples year round. However, drop boxes are only open April-October. If you'd like to submit a sample outside of those months, hand deliver or ship your samples directly to our lab:
