Research Technician

I am a sophomore studying Ecological Agriculture and Animal Science at UVM. My experience has involved livestock and vegetable operations, emphasizing how farm practices collaterally impact wild populations and natural ecosystems. I am becoming acquainted with bees with regards to their vital pollination services to our agricultural system, representing the nexus between plant and animal interactions which interest me the most. I am thrilled to be assisting in Vermont Bee Lab's SARE project, focusing on breeding a pathogen and disease resistant honeybee in the Northeast.
